The word “kharis” is a Greek word (G5485) which means “grace”. More specifically, kharis means grace, good will, loving-kindness and favor.
You’ll find kharis used 156 times in the Bible, like in this verse here:
For ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that ye through his poverty might be rich. ~ 2 Corinthians 8:9
It just so happens that kharis is a) in a scripture about finances in the Bible AND b) is spelled quite like our owner’s first name. You can thank Kari’s husband for finding such a word!
